Las civilizaciones antiguas proyectaron sus imaginarios colectivos en las estrellas mediante líneas imaginarias. Estas líneas, no solamente crearon figuras sobre la bóveda celeste, también permitieron construir lenguajes simbólicos, abrir las puertas a nuevas relaciones del hombre y generar un nuevo modo de percibir el mundo. Partiendo del precepto elemental de la constelación - puntos unidos por líneas este proyecto donde el cuerpo es visto como la bóveda celeste y las marcas que habitan en él, sus estrellas, propone vincular los lunares y pecas del cuerpo para reconocer patrones reticulares sobre la piel, y así , ofrecer una lectura distinta del cuerpo para hacer consciente al individuo de las múltiples posibilidades que éste puede brindarle; desde reafirmar su individualidad hasta crear ficción sobre su piel. En Constelaciones Corporales lo geométrico emerge de lo orgánico, se responde a un imaginario plástico producto de la interacción entre mi mirada subjetiva y se enfatiza la identidad al ofertar una veta de exploración de cada sujeto. El hecho interesante de este proyecto es que las constelaciones reflejan lo que ocurre en el mundo circundante: de lo orgánico emerge la geometría. Ancient civilizations projected their collective imagination into the stars through imaginary lines. These lines not only established figures on the celestial dome, but also made symbolic languages possible, opened doors to new ways of seeing and generated a new way of perceiving the world. Starting from the basic precept of the constellation -points connected by lines- the project Corporal Constellations was born. The body is seen as the celestial dome, and the marks that inhabit it are its stars. The project proposes to connect the bodys birth marks with the intention of recognizing reticular patterns on the skin. The aim is to offer a different interpretation of the body and make the individual aware of the many possibilities it can provide; from reaffirming their individuality, to creating fiction on their skin or finding patterns that transmit the authenticity of a being and how it is possible to develop other pictorial languages to reaffirm us and identify us. The interesting fact of this project, is that the constellations are mirrored the occurrences in the surrounding world: from the organic, geometry emerges.
